Puppy Parenting      $40 per family

New puppies need lots of guidance and reassurance. Studies have even shown that behaviors developed in puppies between the ages of 6 and 16 weeks carry over well into adulthood. As you can see, it is very important to start these little ones off right and lay the groundwork now necessary for them to develop into well adjusted adult dogs. 

The Puppy Parenting class is designed to help new owners, or prospective dog owners, learn how to handle everyday situations with their new puppies. The Trainer conducts a session targeting puppy raising basics. Subjects covered include crate training, nipping, chewing, diet, basic care, social skills (shown to be critical in dog temperament development) and everyday life with your puppy. This class will help you better “parent” your puppy to be an outstanding dog.
