Waiver & Assumption of Risk

I understand there are no refunds once the class I have signed up for begins. I may ask for a refund ,or apply amount paid to another type of training, before the class I have registered for begins.

I understand that attendance in dog training classes is not without risk to myself, members of my family, or guests who may attend, or my dog. Greatest care will be used in classes to ensure my, and my dog’s safety. However, some of the dogs to which I (we) will be exposed to may be difficult for their handlers to control.

I hereby waive and release The Furry Academy Inc., its employees, owners, officers, and agents from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage which I or my dog may suffer, including specifically, but not with out limitation, any injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog, and I expressly assume the risk of any such damage or injury while attending any training session or other function of The Furry Academy, Inc., or while on the training grounds or the surrounding area.

I understand it is my responsibility to keep my dog current on vaccinations, but I recognize that dogs may still be susceptible to disease.

In consideration of and as inducement to the acceptance of my application for training membership into this dog training class, I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Furry Academy, Inc., its employees, officers, owners and agents from any and all claims or claims by any member of my family or any other person accompanying me to any training session or function of the Furry Academy, Inc., or while on the grounds or surrounding area thereto as a result of any action by any dog including my own.

I understand that the Trainer, at her sole discretion, my remove or refuse from class any dog that may pose a threat or serious problem to any animal or person present. Refund, if any, will be determined by trainer involved.

By submitting the above listed REGISTRATION APPLICATION and PAYING for enrollment to class, you show your acceptance of the above Waiver. Adults over 18 only may submit an application with payment, though minors may be listed as handler.
