Private Lessons  

$90 per hour (additional travel fee if farther than 20 min from the Academy)

Private lessons are personal training sessions that are given in your home, the environment where most bad behaviors begin. Lessons are personalized with your training goals in mind and may encompass any problem or lesson the owner would like to focus on. For difficult to handle pets, pets that are excessive barkers in public, aggression, or other issues that can make traveling difficult, Private lessons offer the best option for both the trainer and the owner. Private lessons are for dogs of any age and the trainer will conduct a brief interview during the phone consultation before scheduling your appointment to obtain your dog’s history and your training goals.  Lessons may be scheduled on Wednesdays, Tuesdays, or following a Group Class session.

Get Only What You Need Clients have the unique option of requesting as few or as many lessons as they would like and since the trainer comes to your home, this option can also be useful for those owners that have mobility problems. The Furry Academy  does

encourage social interaction once behaviors have improved and offers a discount of 10% off Basic Obedience Group Classes for those joining after utilizing Private Lessons.

Private Lessons are also the perfect setting to focus on fear issues, some forms of aggression, shyness, and other behaviors.
